USS Delphinus
Frontier Day was supposed to be a grand celebration. Instead, it turned Starfleet upside down. More than 200 starships lost all of their experienced officers and veterans. An entire starbase was destroyed. And thousands of fresh officers and cadets suffered intense emotional and physical trauma.
Yet, Starfleet must rebuild and move forward. Enter the Sagan-class Delphinus, her scars still present from Frontier Day. Its Tellarite Captain would rather trade the conn for flying a desk. Before he can, he must train a new generation, starting with a traumatized and eager Lieutenant Commander Rana Anura. Their mission is simple, detect new threats to the wounded Federation and stop anyone who dares to finish what the Borg started.
